How We Disinfect Coronavirus – Working to Mitigate COVID-19

The current crisis surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is affecting us all in some way or another. New research study at UCLA found that SARS-COV-2 can survive for 2-3 days on some surfaces. The study suggests that the virus can live for up to 72 hours, especially on surfaces that are hard and flat. In the study, researchers found that “HCoV-19 was most stable on plastic and stainless steel and viable virus could be detected up to 72 hours post application.” You can download the full preprint PDF here.
For our clients, this means we want to make sure to keep areas cleaned and disinfectant with special attention to flat surfaces, desks and tables. Areas that people frequently touch are also very important such as doorknobs or elevator buttons.
RamClean employees are trained on how to clean & how to disinfect for the coronavirus. We are using EPA registered surface disinfectants on List N: Disinfectants for use on against SARS-COV-2, a corona virus that causes COVID-19.
We also follow OSHA guidelines & regulations & will continue to do so in order to make you feel safe within your own spaces.
